This blend of our two most popular white wines is sure to please. It displays the lovely tropical fruit aromas of the Chardonnay mixed with the peach, honeysuckle and citrus nose of the Semillon. With a full flavoured palate it is well balanced with a soft acid finish. Wine-maker Peter Gajewski, Rocland Winery, Nuriootpa. Serve chilled with Oysters, Scallops or fish. Alcohol: 11.0%

This wine was produced from the Muscat Gordo Blanco grape, is unwooded, and is a full flavoured Moselle style wine with distinctive fruit characters. With attractive crimson colours with hints of purple this wine exhibits lifted ripe cherry and berry, spice and subtle oak on the nose. The fruit used in this wine is sourced exclusively from the Salter vineyards and produced at Rocland Estates under the care of winemaker Peter Gajewski Excellent with Peking duck, and other rich meats. As the Merlot has rich ripe plum and blackberry flavours and the Cabernet displays the herbaceous, blackcurrant, berry flavours they marry well together for a vast array of lovely fruit. Both components were fermented in French Oak giving some nice spice to the wine. The fruit used in this wine is sourced exclusively from the Salter vineyards and produced at Rocland Estates under the care of winemaker Peter Gajewski A beautiful food wine that goes well with all meat dishes, lasagne or matured cheeses. The 2008 Moorunde Cabernet Sauvignon has a dense dark red colour. The bouquet of this wine is overflowing with rich blackcurrant and berry fruits which carry onto the palate to be beautifully balanced with dark chocolate and spicy French oak characteristics. The 2008 Moorunde Merlot has a deep red to black colour. The bouquet is one of ripe plum and blackberries, supported by tantalizing varietal spicy aromas. This wine is rich with juicy plums and blackberries rounded with soft silky tannins.
